About Busy Bee Shared Use Kitchen

Meet the Founder
Busy Bee Shared Use Kitchen is located in Springboro, Ohio and was founded by Brandy Skelton, a home chef and real-food enthusiast with a deep appreciation for how nourishing food supports healthier, happier lives.
Brandy’s path began in her own kitchen, cooking for her family and learning firsthand how food choices impact energy, wellness, and daily life. What started as a personal passion evolved into cooking for other families, supporting community meal efforts, and eventually building food-focused businesses rooted in care, quality, and consistency.
Busy Bee Shared Use Kitchen is a family-led operation, with Brandy’s husband, Mike Skelton, serving as Business Manager. Together, they bring both heart and structure to the business — combining a love of food with the systems, planning, and oversight needed to support growing food enterprises.
Why Busy Bee Exists
Through years of working with food makers and small businesses, Brandy and Mike saw a common challenge: talented entrepreneurs were being slowed down by limited access to licensed, compliant commercial kitchen space and unclear regulatory processes.
Busy Bee Shared Use Kitchen was created to remove that barrier.
